became my beautiful treasure!
This was a great little Craigslist find. She was a diamond in the rough. The top required some sanding, staining and a few coats of polyurethane. I used Rustoleums' "Kona" (I could only find it at Lowe's) for the stain and an oil-based "high gloss" polyurethane.I painted it with Websters Chalk Paint Powder mixed in Behr "Cathedral". I sanded until velvety smooth and sealed with "Light" Fiddes wax. Her hardware got a coat of "Oil Rubbed Bronze" spray paint. We love how she turned out!
