Lets start the the very basics.
Though Websters can certainly be mixed in large quantities for painting walls, for example, we usually just mix as much as we need. There is no waste from having too much chalk paint left unused sitting on the shelf. So, here we go!1. Websters comes like this:
2. Mixing is easy! 2 Tbs Websters + 1 Tbs water and shake it up! Anyone who knows me, knows I am a jar hoarder. I can't bear to throw away a perfectly recyclable jar! Thanks, Wylers Beef Stock, for a perfect jar :D
3. Shake, shake, shake......shake, shake, shake....shake your Websters, shake your Websters....la, la, la
4. Add to 1 cup of your favorite paint. In this example, I am using a 1 cup sample size of Behr, from Home Depot, for $2.94! Saving!
5. And repeat.....shake, shake, shake.....shake, shake, shake......
6. And you are all set to paint! Look, no grit, no lumps, and no nasty chemicals added!
Was wondering does high (South Carolina ) humidty have any effect -- or change results ?
ReplyDeleteHi Kim! We have not noticed any affect on the paint from the humidity here in Georgia. It seems to dry in about 30 minutes. Heathers hair is another story. Thanks for asking!
ReplyDeleteYou have just saved me so much money! I have over 30 colors of paint that I can still use!
ReplyDeleteHow much is it?
Deletein the above it says add one cup of your favorite paint but it doesn't say how much powder to use with the 1 cup do u use the whole bag of chalk powder to 1 cup of paint????
ReplyDeleteIt says 2 tblsp of powder to 1 tblsp of water mix well and add 1 cup of paint and mix well hope that helps
